On Tuesday, Day 179 of the genocidal Israeli offensive on the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, Israeli missiles and shells killed dozens of Palestinians and injured hundreds, in various parts of the devastated and starved coastal enclave.

At least six Palestinians, including two women and a child, were killed and many were injured when the army fired a missile at an apartment in the Etihad Residential Tower, west of the Nusseirat refugee camp, in central Gaza.

In Deir Al-Balah, in central Gaza, Israel’s missiles killed at least two Palestinians and injured dozens, in the Abu Al-Ajeen area in the western part of the city.

The Israeli army also carried out numerous air strikes targeting the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, and barrages of live fire at homes in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, southwest of the city, causing many casualties.

After the Israeli army withdrew from the Shifa Hospital in Gaza, the Palestinains found the remains of dozens of Palestinians, including patients and medical staff, mutilated and buried under the rubble in addition to many who were run over by the military bulldozers.

In Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, the army wired and detonated many homes in the city, in addition to firing dozens of artillery shells at the Al-Amal neighborhood and its surroundings in the city.

The army also fired a missile near the Palestinian Telecommunications building, in the center of Khan Younis, killing three Palestinians and wounding many others.

In Rafah, in southmost Gaza, Israeli missiles and shells killed and injured dozens of Palestinians, including ten whose corpses were found under the rubble of a home for the Zo’rob family.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said the army “committed seven massacres of families, killing at least 71 Palestinians and wounding more than 102, in less than 24 hours.

Israel has now killed at least 32.916 Palestinians, and injured more than 75.494, mostly women and children, in several parts of the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.
