On Saturday evening, Israeli missiles and shells continued to target various parts of the Gaza Strip, especially Khan Younis and Gaza City, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians.
The Israeli army fired barrages of missiles at areas west of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
Media sources said the army killed and wounded dozens of Palestinians, including women and children, in the western part of the city.
They added that the army also fired missiles and shells at large areas in the western and southern parts of Khan Younis, causing many casualties.
Furthermore, the army fired many artillery shells at several neighborhoods, east of Gaza City, especially the Zeitoun neighborhood, and the western neighborhoods, causing many casualties.
The Israeli missiles also fired artillery shells and missiles at Beit Hanoun and Qleibo area, in northern Gaza.
Casualties were also reported after the army fired missiles and shells at several areas in Jabalia, in northern Gaza.
The army also fired a missile at a Palestinian home in the Nasr town, northeast of Rafah, in southmost Gaza, causing several casualties.
The Israeli army said Palestinian fighters seriously injured two soldiers in central Gaza, while the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, said its fighters destroyed an Israeli tank in the Al-Amal neighborhood in central Gaza, and fired mortar shells at soldiers, east of Deir Al-Balah, in central Gaza.
In Khan Younis, the Al-Qassam Brigades said its fighters targeted with an anti-personnel shell soldiers who fortified themselves in a home, east of Khan Younis, killing at least three and wounding many others.
The Al-Aqsa Brigades of Fateh movement said its fighters fired shells at soldiers and their tanks while invading an area, east of Deir Al-Balah.
The Israeli army said one soldiers was killed, on Saturday evening, during gun battles with Palestinian fighters in the Al-Amal neighborhood in Khan Younis.
UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell said on X: War in Gaza has reportedly killed over 13K children and injured countless more. Homes, schools, and hospitals are in ruin. Teachers, doctors, and humanitarians killed. Famine is imminent. The level and speed of destruction are shocking. Children need a ceasefire NOW.
The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics said the Israeli army is killing four children every hour in the Gaza Strip.
It added that the Israeli army has killed at least 33.137 Palestinians, including 14.350 children (%44 of the slain Palestinians) in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, and stated that there are at least 7000 missing Palestinians, largely buried under the rubble, about %70 are woman and children.
