On Monday, Day 220 of the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people in the destroyed and starved Gaza Strip, Israeli missiles and shells killed dozens of Palestinians and injured many more, including women and children, in several parts of the coastal region.

In Jabalia refugee camp, in Jabalia in northern Gaza, the army fired artillery shells at homes in the densely populated Bloc 2 and Bloc 4, injuring dozens of Palestinians.

Israeli tanks and armored vehicles advanced into the center of the Jabalia refugee camp while firing bursts of live rounds at make-shift shelters and forced hundreds of Palestinians to leave the army.

The army also fired live rounds at several Palestinian ambulances trying to enter the refugee camp to look for slain or wounded Palestinians.

Medical sources said the army fired a missile at a home in the Sheja’eyya neighborhood, in Gaza City, killing a woman and wounding at least ten Palestinians.

The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) said the army fired a missile at a home in the Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City, killing a member of its Political Bureau, Tala Abu Tharifa, among many other Palestinians.

In Rafah, in Gaza’s southmost part, the army fired a missile at a home in the Al-Barazil neighborhood, southeast of the city, killing four Palestinians, including a child, and wounding dozens.

Local sources said the missile struck a home for the Musleh family, killing and wounding many Palestinians who were moved to the Kuwaiti Hospital.

Furthermore, medics and Civil Defense teams found the corpses of ten Palestinians, including children and women, under the rubble of bombarded homes in the Salam neighborhood, in Rafah.

The Israeli army is demanding the evacuation of the Kuwaiti Specialty Hospital in Rafah, which would leave Rafah with just one partially functioning Emirati field hospital, as it is planning a full ground invasion of the city.

It is worth mentioning that the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) said at least 360.000 Palestinians fled Rafah after the Israeli army ordered its evacuation a week earlier and added that the Palestinians have no place to go and are never safe without a ceasefire.

UNRWA added that the ongoing Israeli restrictions on the entry of food and humanitarian aid to Gaza are significantly increasing the suffering of the dozens of thousands of families.

Israel continues the full closure of the Rafah Border Terminal and the Karem Abu Salem (Kerem Shalom) commercial crossing, barring the entry of aid into the destroyed coastal enclave.

It is worth mentioning that Israeli Defense Minister Yuav Gallant said that “the war on Gaza will continue until the return of all captured Israelis” and the “total defeat of Hamas,” but failed to mention that the Israeli army has killed many Israeli captive amidst the massive ongoing bombing of various parts of the Gaza Strip.

Gallant added that the war on Gaza has no other alternatives and that it will shape the lives of Israelis for decades.

Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, said that the war on Gaza cannot end without the full surrender of Hamas and that a discussion is underway regarding the deportation of Hamas political leaders.

“Hamas must first surrender, drop its weapons, and release all captured Israelis,” Netanyahu said, “Before we discuss anything else, Hamas must be defeated and surrender.”

Responding to criticism for not accepting a prisoner-swap agreement, Netanyahu said that Israel cannot accept the demands of Hamas and added that the “United States said there is no deal because of Hamas.”

According to Israeli media outlets, the number of slain soldiers since October 7, 2023, is 716, including 39 reservists, 68 with the police and military police, and six with the Shabak.

Israeli has now killed more than 35.034 Palestinians, including at least 15.002 children and 9.893 women, and injured at least 78.755, mostly women and children, in addition to the thousands of Palestinians who remain under the rubble, in several parts of the Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023.
