On Wednesday, Day 229 of the genocide of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, Israeli missiles and shells killed and injured dozens of Palestinians, including women and children, across the coastal enclave.

The Israeli army fired barrages of missiles and shells at several parts of the Gaza Strip, bombing many homes and buildings across the coastal enclave.

In Jabalia, in northern Gaza, Israeli missiles killed four Palestinians and injured many others while leaving a makeshift shelter in Jabalia, in northern Gaza.

The army also fired many artillery shells at several parts of Jabalia town, causing casualties.

Medical sources said eight Palestinians were killed and many were injured, some seriously, when the army fired a missile at a home in the Nusseirat refugee camp, in central Gaza.

Also in central Gaza, the army fired a missile at a home behind the Al-Oruba School, in the northern part of the Nuseirat refugee camp, killing seven Palestinians and wounding many.

They added that the rescue teams were still looking for potential victims or survivors under the rubble.

In addition, sixteen Palestinians, including ten children, were killed, and dozens injured, when the army fired a missile at a home in the center of Gaza City.

Furthermore, Israeli military drones fired missiles at many Palestinians in the Zeitoun neighborhood, in Gaza City, killing at least ten Palestinians, including children, and wounding more than twenty.

At least one Palestinian was killed and several were injured when an Israeli missile struck a home in Rafah, in the southmost part of the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli navy also targeted Palestinian fishing boats at the shore of Rafah, preventing the starving displaced families from fishing.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said the army committed six massacres of entire families in the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours, killing 62 Palestinians and wounding more than 138, including many women and children.

It added that the number is only for those who were moved to hospitals and medical centers and does not include those who remain under the rubble.

Also, UNRWA suspended food distribution in Rafah due to serious supply shortages and insecurity as the Israeli army expanded its offensive there.

The World Health Organization (WHO) said the “situation in Gaza is “beyond catastrophic,” and added that the Kamal Adwan Hospital, in northern Gaza, became non-functional while the Al-Awda Hospital remains surrounded and isolated by the Israeli army.

Israel has now killed at least 35.709 Palestinians and injure3d more than 79.990, the majority of whom are women and children, in addition to 10.000 Palestinians, including women and children, who remain missing, largely under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings, in several parts of the Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023.
