On Wednesday, Day 243 of the ongoing onslaught on the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, Israeli missiles and shells struck various parts of the Gaza Strip, killing at least 75 and wounding dozens, including many women and children, in central Gaza, in addition to the dozens of casualties across the coastal enclave.

The army intensified its bombing of various parts of the Gaza Strip and expanded its ground offensive and shelling of the Al-Boreij refugee camp, Nusseirat refugee camp, and various areas in central Gaza.

Medical sources said the army fired barrages of missiles and shells at the Al-Boreij and the Al-Maghazi refugee camp, resulting in the death of at least 75 Palestinians, in addition to dozens of injuries.

At least twenty-nine of the slain Palestinians were killed, and dozens were injured, including women and children, when the army fired a missile at the Sardi School, run by UNRWA, in the Nusseirat, where dozens of families sheltered after fleeing their homes.

Al-Jazeera English said the army carried out many airstrikes targeting residential buildings in the Al-Bureij refugee camp and added that the Palestinians who were in the bombarded homes and buildings “have been trying to leave their homes since Tuesday when the surge in attacks started and the invasion of the eastern part of the central area of Gaza began.”

Al-Jazeera added that the Israeli attacks in Al-Boreij resulted in killing at least 102 Palestinians in the past 24 hours and said that paramedics informed its correspondent that there are many more Palestinians who remain in the targeted area.

The Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al-Balah, in central Gaza, said one of its power generators has stopped working, an issue that could lead to a disaster that could claim the lives of dozens of patients.

The hospital’s administration denounced the ongoing Israeli violations against the medical center and the constant siege, adding that forcing the hospital to shut down is a crime against humanity as all patients and seriously wounded Palestinians would face certain death.

It called on the international community to intervene and save the lives of the wounded and the patients, especially the children.

It is worth mentioning that the army confirmed it targeted the school in Nusseirat, and alleged that it was targeting Hamas fighters.

The army claimed it “targeted Hamas fighters in the area of the school,” and “eliminated them,” and tried to justify the killing and injuries of the dozens of civilians, including children and women, by alleging “Hamas fighters were planning attacks against the army.”

The Israeli army also fired many missiles and shells at various areas, including residential areas and farmlands, especially in Al-Qarara, north of Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, causing many casualties.

In Rafah, in Gaza’s southmost part, the army fired many missiles and shells at parts of the city, while the Israeli navy fired many artillery shells at areas near the shore.

The Al-Qassam Brigades the army wing of Hamas, and several armed resistance groups in the Gaza Strip, said they destroyed tanks in several parts of the coastal region, especially in Rafah.

Despite constant talk of a potential ceasefire and an agreement to end the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip, the Hamas movement said there will be no deal or any sort of an agreement without a clear stance regarding ending this onslaught and the full Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.

Israel has now killed at least 36.586 Palestinians and injured more than 83.074, mostly women and children, in addition to the thousands who remain under the rubbles, on stress, and destroyed alleys in various parts of the Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023.
