On Wednesday, day 257 of the Israeli invasion of the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation army continued its land, air and sea aggression against the entire civilian population of Gaza.

Before dawn Wednesday, a number of Palestinians were killed and others were injured as a result of the bombing of several areas in the Strip by Israeli warplanes, quadcopters and drones.

In the city of Rafah, at least 7 civilians were killed and dozens injured, in a violent Israeli occupation bombing that targeted the tents of displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area, in the southernmost part of the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli occupation also opened fire on citizens’ homes in the Saudi neighborhood, west of the city of Rafah, accompanied by an incursion by Israeli military vehicles into the neighborhood.

Israeli warplanes launched raids on the western areas of the city of Rafah and targeted with artillery shelling the vicinity of the Emirati field hospital west of the city.

In the same context, doctors warned of the catastrophic deterioration of the health situation in Rafah due to the occupation army’s targeting of hospitals, as some patients are dying due to lack of medicines.

In Gaza City, medical sources reported that 6 citizens were killed and others were injured as a result of the occupation bombing of a house belonging to the Abu Safiya family on Second Street in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood.

The Israeli occupation artillery targeted the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of the city, amid heavy gunfire, and Israeli gunboats also opened fire on civilian homes off the coast of Al-Shati camp, west of Gaza City.

In the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, medical teams recovered 3 killed Palestinians as a result of the Israeli occupation’s bombing of the northwestern region of the Nuseirat camp. The three were identified as Al-Harith Miqdad, Mahmoud Abu Arab, and Muhammad Abu Arab.

In addition, Israeli quadcopter drones fired bullets at citizens’ homes east of the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

In an ongoing and indefinite toll, the death toll since the start of the aggression on the Gaza Strip, on the seventh of last October, has risen to more than 37,372 killed, the majority of whom are children and women, and 85,452 injuries, and thousands of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads. The Israeli occupation has been preventing ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them.
