On Thursday, July 18th, day 286 of the Israeli assault on the entire civilian population of the Gaza Strip, Israeli bombardment continued from the pre-dawn hours, through the morning, afternoon and into the evening.

Israeli airstrikes on civilian areas continued throughout the day and evening. At least six Palestinian civilians were killed and others injured on Thursday evening in Israeli shelling of several areas in the Gaza Strip.
Local and medical sources said that four citizens were martyred after the occupation targeted a gathering of citizens in the vicinity of the Abd al-Aal intersection on al-Jalaa Street, west of Gaza City. They were transferred to the Arab Baptist Hospital in the city, while a citizen was martyred after the occupation aircraft targeted a house next to the al-Julani Mosque in the al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of the city.
A civilian was also killed and 8 others were injured when the Israeli occupation targeted the Abu Atwi family home in the Al-Da’wa area, north of the Nuseirat camp, in the central Gaza Strip.
Two civilians were killed and others were injured on Thursday evening in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a school in the al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
A correspondent with the Wafa news agency said that two killed and five wounded were transferred to the Arab Baptist Hospital in Gaza City, after the Israeli occupation aircraft bombed Al-Falah School in Al-Zeitoun neighborhood.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said on Thursday that Gaza families have lost everything and the situation is deteriorating daily, amid a shortage of food and tents, which puts the lives of the vulnerable at risk.
“We can’t sleep. We can’t eat. We can’t drink. The smell is killing us.”

The Israeli occupation forces continue their aggression on the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, since October 7, 2023, which resulted in the killing of more than 38,848 Palestinians, the majority of whom are women and children, and the injury of more than 89,459 others, in an incomplete toll, as thousands of victims are still under the rubble, in addition to unprecedented destruction of infrastructure, homes and facilities .

Seven civilians were killed and several others were injured, on Thursday morning, as a result of the Israeli occupation forces’ shelling of the central Gaza Strip.
Medical sources reported that 6 civilians were killed and a number of others were injured, as a result of an occupation raid that targeted a house in the town of Al-Zawaida. A civilian was also killed and 15 others were injured as a result of the occupation targeting the Abdullah Azzam Mosque in the Al-Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Two civilians were killed, 7 others were injured, and 4 children are missing, in an Israeli bombing of a house in Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, on Thursday morning.
A correspondent with the Wafa news agency explained that the Israeli occupation targeted a house belonging to the Tahrawi family in Al-Bureij camp, where two civilians were killed and 7 injured. The injured were transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah.
Wafa reported that ambulance crews also transferred 7 injured people, including children and a woman, to Al-Awda Hospital after the Israeli occupation forces bombed a residential apartment in the Al-Ittihad Tower in the Al-Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Also Thursday morning, Israeli occupation aircraft also bombed with two missiles an agricultural land in the vicinity of the Central Camps Police Station, south of the camp, and an agricultural land north of the city of Deir al-Balah.
The Israeli occupation artillery also bombed citizens’ homes east of Khan Yunis, and the western and eastern areas of Rafah.
The lsraeli military has targeted at least 4 schools filled with displaced civilians in the past 9 days.
