Malnourished babies due to lack of food in Gaza:

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) on Tuesday warned that the extent of the suffering in the Gaza Strip has “shaken the faith” of many in human rights, stressing that what the Strip is deprived of as a result of the Israeli genocide are “rights, not privileges.”

This came in a post on the X platform, on the occasion of International Human Rights Day, which falls on December 10 of each year, which is the day on which the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948.

“Today is International Human Rights Day. The scale of the suffering witnessed in Gaza over the past year has shaken many people’s faith in human rights,” the agency said.

The Israeli occupation forces continue their aggression on the Gaza Strip by land, sea and air since October 7, 2023, which resulted in the killing of at least 44,786 citizens, the majority of whom are women and children, and the injury of 106,188 others, in an incomplete toll, as thousands of victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, and ambulance and rescue crews cannot reach them.
