The Palestinian Detainees Committee has confirmed, Saturday, that Nasser Abu Hmeid, imprisoned by Israel, is in a critical condition, and denounced the Israeli decision that transferred him out of an Israeli hospital to the infamous Ramla prison clinic that lacks basic supplies and physicians.
The Committee stated that Abu Hmeid is dependent on a wheelchair, and needs help in all of his daily tasks, especially since he is unable to use his limbs.
It demanded his transfer to a civilian hospital that can provide him with the urgently needed medical attention, and warned that moving him to the prison clinic is significantly increasing the risks of death.
The Committee added that it is contacting various parties, international human rights, and legal groups, to secure his release so that he can be in a Palestinian hospital, close to his family.
