Dozens of Palestinians have been killed and scores injured, including children, in the continued Israeli bombing of residential buildings and homes in the Gaza Strip.
Medical sources said 27 Palestinians, including many children, were killed and dozens injured when the army fired missiles at a home, also destroying surrounding homes and buildings, in Jabalia, in northern Gaza.
They added that at least five Palestinians were killed and 45 injured when the army fired a missile into an area near a school that houses dozens of displaced families in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
Many Palestinians, including women and children, remain buried under the rubble while the locals continue to dig and look for survivors.
The army also bombed homes in Jabalia and Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza, causing dozens of casualties, including many fatalities.
In the southern Gaza Strip, the army fired a missile at a home for the Dheir family in the Khirbat Al-Adas area in Rafah, killing and wounding many Palestinians.
Furthermore, the army fired a missile at home in Al-Wehda Street in Gaza City, causing many fatalities and injuries.
Also, media sources said Israeli missiles killed a child with American citizenship and seriously injured her brother after their family (Abu Sha’ban) was unable to leave the coastal region amidst unwillingness from the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem to help them return to the U.S. or just leave Gaza.
