An elderly Palestinian was among several people injured on Thursday afternoon when illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers attacked the Al‑Junaidi agricultural nursery and the surrounding area near Deir Sharaf, northwest of Nablus in the occupied West Bank’s northern part. The assault involved severe beatings, the torching of vehicles, and extensive property damage

Local sources said a group of colonizers stormed the Al‑Junaidi nursery and violently assaulted those inside, beating them with sticks and kicking them repeatedly.

At least three Palestinians were injured in the attack, including a 65‑year‑old man who suffered a broken hand, while two others sustained bruises and lacerations. All three were transferred to the hospital for treatment.

The sources added that the colonizers, who were accompanied and protected by Israeli occupation forces, also assaulted two elderly men near the factory adjacent to the nursery.

The attackers then set five Palestinian vehicles on fire—four inside the nursery and a fifth nearby—causing severe damage.

Residents reported widespread panic as the colonizers moved through the area, vandalizing property and attacking civilians before withdrawing under military protection.

Thursday’s assault is part of a growing pattern of coordinated colonizer violence targeting Palestinian communities around Nablus.

Economic facilities, agricultural nurseries, and civilian infrastructure have repeatedly come under attack, often while Israeli forces provide direct protection or operational cover for the colonizers.

The incident mirrors an earlier attack on November 13, when illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers stormed the same area near the Al‑Junaidi factory and Deir Sharaf, vandalized Palestinian property, and set vehicles on fire.

Residents warn that the convergence of colonizer violence and military protection has created an increasingly dangerous environment, threatening safety, livelihoods, and freedom of movement across the northern West Bank.
