According to the Prisoners Commission, the wife and the brother of a Palestinian prisoner in Israel were arrested, Monday, while attempting to a visit the detainee, The Palestinian News and Info Agency (WAFA) reported.
The Commission stated that Israeli forces detained the wife of Ramadan Eid Mashahreh, along with his brother, at Hadarim prison, for no apparent reason.
Mashahreh, 43, from Jabal al-Mukabber neighborhood in occupied East Jerusalem, and was detained on July 6, 2002. His brother, Fahmi, was also arrested two months later, and both were sentenced to 20 life terms.
His wife states that Mashahreh was subjected to harsh interrogation by Israeli forces after his arrest, in addition, Israel demolished their family home, years after Mashahreh was sentenced.
