Update: On Tuesday evening, Israeli forces killed 13 Palestinians in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. This is in addition to 10 civilians killed in Khan Younis earlier Tuesday, making the total number of Palestinians killed in Khan Younis Tuesday 23 – and raising the total killed across Gaza on Tuesday to 147.

The Israeli occupation warplanes launched raids on four houses inhabited by Palestinians west of Khan Yunis, in addition to violent bombardment targeting a number of residential buildings in the Al-Nasmawi neighborhood in the city, and artillery shelling in the “Batn Al-Sameen” area to the west, and the “New Abasan” area to the east.

The occupation forces also targeted, with raids and bombing, the vicinity of Nasser Medical Hospital and the vicinity of Al-Amal Hospital, affiliated with the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, which led to severe damage to the hospital and a state of panic and terror among the ranks of patients, wounded, medical staff, and displaced people.

Earlier, a woman and her child were killed in an Israeli raid that targeted a group of citizens in the Hashashashin area, west of Rafah, in the south of the Gaza Strip – a city of 200,000 people which is currently playing host to over one million internally displaced refugees who were forced to flee from the north and central Gaza by Israeli forces.

At least 4 civilians were also killed in an Israeli bombing on the town of Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip. Local sources said that 4 Palestinians, including a child, were killed as a result of artillery shelling on Jabalia al-Balad, while the Israeli occupation aircraft launched raids on the town of Beit Hanoun, north of the Gaza Strip.

In Gaza City, ambulance and rescue crews were able to recover the bodies of 20 Palestinians, in addition to dozens of wounded, following violent raids launched by Israeli occupation aircraft on a number of homes, which led to their destruction along with the death of their residents.

Israeli daily Haaretz said the army estimates that the tunnel network in the Gaza Strip could be at least 700 kilometers long, unlike the previous estimation of just about 400 kilometers.

Israeli military officials believe that the tunnels have 5700 smaller openings in several parts of the Gaza Strip, used by the fighters to target the invading Israeli tanks and armored vehicles with shoulder-held rockets and explosives.

In addition, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, said its fighter destroyed an armored Israeli military vehicle from point-blank range and exchanged fire with soldiers around it in the Jabal Ar-Rayyes area east of the Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City, killing and wounding several soldiers.

Al-Qassam added that an Israeli military helicopter rushed to the area to evacuate the soldiers and that its fighters also fired Mortar shells at groups of soldiers east of the Tuffah neighborhood.

Al-Qassam stated its fighters fired barrages of shells at 19 Israeli areas across the perimeter fence in Gaza, in addition to the Western Negev and Netivot, in what has been a message challenging Israel’s allegation of neutralizing the resistance, especially in northern Gaza.

Yet again, Israeli occupation soldiers filmed themselves celebrating and laughing at the flattening and ethnic cleansing of entire neighborhoods in Gaza.
