Israeli airstrikes killed at least two Palestinians on Sunday, while many others suffered injuries, some serious, in the besieged and devastated Gaza Strip. The army claimed that its forces killed an alleged Hamas commander in the central Gaza Strip.
The WAFA News Agency reported that one Palestinian was killed and two others were injured, on Sunday morning, after an Israeli drone strike near Salah al-Din Street in the central Gaza Strip.
In the afternoon, an Israeli drone strike killed a child and injured six citizens, including some seriously, after targeting a warehouse in Al-Zawaida town, in the central Gaza Strip.
Occupation forces also bombed a “barracks” on Salah al-Din Street, at the entrance to the Al-Maghazi camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, in the southern Gaza Strip, four Palestinians sustained injuries after a drone strike targeted a site north of Khan Younis.
Later, two additional drone strikes injured six citizens after targeting a displacement tent near the Al-Albani Mosque in Khan Younis.
The ARAB48 News website quoted the Palestinian Civil Defense who reported that the citizen Ismail Abu Al-Foul, 25, was killed at the entrance to the Al-Maghazi camp.
Later, the site reported that 4-year-old Mohammad Abdul Salam Hassan Taha was killed in the bombing of the barracks at the entrance to the Al-Maghazi camp.
According to Mahmoud Basal, the spokesman for the Civil Defense, its ambulance crews transported 3 slain citizens and 14 injured citizens to hospitals.
Medical sources at the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah confirmed that a number of wounded citizens arrived at the hospital, two of whom were in critical condition.
On Sunday evening, sources reported that three Palestinians were injured after occupation forces shot them with live ammunition east of Gaza City, in the northern Gaza Strip.
In a statement, the Israeli army announced that its forces killed Ismail Abu Foul in the Al-Maghazi area, claiming that he was involved in manufacturing weapons.
The statement alleged that Abu Foul was “the commander of a weapons production site at the Hamas production headquarters,” and added that he “actively participated in the production of explosive devices and anti-tank missiles for the movement, and was eliminated to remove the threat.”
According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, Israel has killed 1,286 Palestinians and injured 4,257 others since the ceasefire agreement between Israel and the Islamic Resistance Movement on October 10, 2025.
Since the beginning of Israel’s latest military onslaught against the Gaza Strip, on October 7, 2023, at least 73,420 Palestinians have been killed and 174,369 others have been wounded.
