In the occupied West Bank Sunday, Israeli forces abducted at least 20 Palestinians, including a child and released prisoners, in the governorates of Tulkarem, Qalqilia, Jenin, Nablus, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem.
Israeli forces abducted five young men after storming their homes in the governorate of Tulkarem, in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources reported that soldiers abducted Yazan Hazem Anbousi and Laith Saeed Abu Al-Ezz in Zeita town, Osama Asba and Saber Imad Taqatqa in Illar town, and Ahmad Zaher Radad in Saida town.
In the nearby city of Qalqilia, occupation forces abducted six Palestinians from their homes in the Kafr Saba and Al-Naqqar neighborhoods.
The army stormed and ransacked several citizens’ homes before abducting Abdullah Al-Qadi, Omar Jaidi, Anas Jaidi, Badr Hamdan, Ayman Hilal, and Ahmad Al-Aqra.
WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli forces abducted two brothers, one of whom is a child, in the village of Rashaydah, east of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank.
He added that soldiers abducted 20-year-old Ahmed Rashaydah, and his 16-year-old brother, Adel Hayel Faleh Rashaydah from their home in the village.
In the northern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the towns of Beita, Tell, and Beit Dajan, in the Nablus governorate, abducting one citizen, and confiscating two privately owned vehicles.
Occupation forces invaded and ransacked several homes in the towns, before abducting the citizen, Oda Subhi Hamayel from Beita town, and seized two vehicles belonging to Hazem Asida from the town of Tell.
ARAB48 reported that soldiers also abducted Suhaib Abu Thabet from his home in the village of Beit Dajan, and added that both Abu Thabet and Hamayel are former prisoners.
Meanwhile, a large army forces stormed the village of Al-Auja, north of Jericho in the northeastern part of the West Bank, under the pretext that a stabbing had taken place there.
Occupation forces closed all the entrances to the village, erected flying military roadblocks, and forced commercial shops to close, disrupting all aspects of daily life.
Soldiers broke into citizens’ homes, confiscated surveillance camera recordings from homes and shops, amidst the overhead flight of military helicopters.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) reported that Israeli forces abducted Rafat Ahmad Saba’neh and Hilal Al-Mulla, after invading their homes in the northern West Bank city of Jenin.
Later, Israeli special forces intercepted a Palestinian vehicle travelling on the Sanour-Jaba’ road, south of Jenin, and abducted Hamza Ahmad Salatina and Mahmoud Khalilieh, taking them to an unknown location.
According to the Jerusalem Governorate, occupation troops abducted the young man, Hassan Taha, after breaking into and ransacking his home in the town of Qatanna.
Furthermore, the army announced on Sunday evening, that “after a chase, the Israeli army forces arrested the suspect who carried out the stabbing operation this morning in the Al-Auja area.”
ARAB48 reported that a 24-year-old illegal colonizer sustained moderate injuries as a result of a stabbing attack near Al-Auja village.
The army pushed a large number of reinforcements to the area and conducted a wide-scale search for the suspect who escaped the scene.
Soldiers stormed the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah in the central West Bank, positioned sharpshooters on the rooftop of a citizen’s home.
Occupation forces fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters at citizens, in addition to detaining and abusing three Palestinians; there were no reports of injuries or abductions.
