On Day 702 of the ongoing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza, Israeli missiles and shells killed at least 62 civilians and injured dozens more across the besieged, starved, and devastated Strip.
In northern Gaza and Gaza City, 49 Palestinians were killed following the bombing of the al-Ro’ya Tower and multiple strikes targeting shelters, homes, and public spaces.
Hospitals documented the deaths of 21 civilians, including children, in attacks on tents and displacement centers.
Five additional starvation deaths were also confirmed, as food insecurity reaches catastrophic levels.
Israeli warplanes also bombed residential homes in Gaza City’s Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, killing and injuring civilians and leaving others trapped beneath the rubble. A separate strike on Ahmad Yassin Street claimed another life.
Israeli forces continued demolishing homes in Sheikh Radwan. Al Jazeera reported that entire residential blocks were leveled, with families buried beneath the debris.
In central Gaza, three civilians were killed and others wounded in an airstrike near the al-Qudsi supermarket in Nuseirat refugee camp.
Later, five more Palestinians were killed in a drone strike on the same camp. Among the victims were Shahd Mohammad al-Hoor, Mohammad al-Hoor, and Karim al-Hoor.
In southern Gaza, two civilians were killed when an Israeli drone targeted a family tent belonging to the al-Najjar family in the al-Qadisiya camp in Khan Younis.
Furthermore, medical teams at Nasser Hospital received the bodies of six Palestinians recovered from various southern districts.
The humanitarian collapse continues to deepen. Gaza’s medical infrastructure is on the brink of total failure.
UNRWA reports that essential nutrition services have ceased, with infants lacking access to safe water, breastmilk substitutes, and therapeutic feeding.
UNICEF estimates that over 320,000 children under five are at risk of acute malnutrition, with thousands suffering from severe wasting, the deadliest form of undernutrition.
Fuel shortages have devastated hospitals, water systems, and sanitation facilities. Emergency surgeries are being performed without anesthesia, and dialysis patients are dying due to lack of supplies.
UNRWA spokesperson Adnan Abu Hasna stated that “the trickle of aid allowed into Gaza does not reach the majority of the population,” warning that the situation is deteriorating by the hour.
The UN’s Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, Tom Fletcher, said, “We must save as many lives as we can, and we have a plan,” but emphasized that without open crossings, fuel access, and safe humanitarian corridors, the suffering will continue unabated.
Meanwhile, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) announced it had received proposals via mediators from the United States aimed at reaching a ceasefire agreement.
The movement welcomed any initiative that could support efforts to halt the genocide and expressed readiness to immediately engage in negotiations to secure the release of all detainees in exchange for a clear and public declaration ending the war.
Hamas affirmed its willingness to negotiate a comprehensive prisoner exchange tied to a full Israeli withdrawal and the formation of an independent committee to administer the Gaza Strip.
It emphasized the need for explicit guarantees of Israeli compliance with any agreement, warning against the repetition of past violations.

The Palestinian Health Ministry reports that 154 people, 89 of them children, have died from malnutrition in recent weeks.
The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs confirms that acute hunger is now widespread, especially in Gaza City and northern districts, where aid access remains severely restricted.
The total death toll from the genocide since October 7, 2023, has now surpassed 64,455, the majority of whom are women and children. More than 162,776 were injured. Thousands remain trapped under rubble or stranded in inaccessible areas, as emergency and civil defense teams struggle to reach them.
