Medical and journalist sources in Gaza said Israeli occupation forces carried out attacks across the Gaza Strip on Sunday, including artillery shelling, tank and naval fire, drone strikes, home demolitions, and assaults on displacement camps from Rafah to Beit Lahia.
Civilians were injured in several neighborhoods as Israeli forces targeted residential areas, coastal zones, and tent shelters, while civil defense teams reported additional victims still trapped under rubble amid the collapse of medical and humanitarian services.
Medical sources in Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, said two citizens, including a child, were shot by Israeli forces in the Al‑Najjar neighborhood in the center of the city, while a third was injured by gunfire in the Al‑Dhahra area west of Khan Younis. Israeli artillery simultaneously struck eastern Khan Younis, intensifying bombardment across the district.
In the central Gaza Strip, Israeli artillery shelled the eastern areas of Al‑Bureij refugee camp, while occupation forces opened heavy fire toward the eastern edges of Jabalia refugee camp and the town of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.
Local sources reported that Israeli military vehicles invaded the Beit Lahia Project area and fired extensively toward homes and residential blocks.
Throughout the day, Israeli forces continued widespread gunfire, artillery shelling, home demolitions, and attacks on shelters and displacement camps across the Gaza Strip. In central Gaza, artillery struck areas northeast and east of Al‑Bureij refugee camp, while Israeli naval vessels opened fire along the coastline.

In eastern Gaza City, tanks and military vehicles opened fire near the Tuffah neighborhood as quad‑copter drones carried out attacks. Several civilians were injured in the Al‑Mahatta area of Al‑Tuffah and the Nafaq area in the center of Gaza city, when Israeli forces fired toward residential areas.

Israeli naval vessels also renewed heavy fire along the coasts of Khan Younis, Rafah, and Gaza City. Gunfire was reported near the Bani Suhaila roundabout east of Khan Younis, targeting homes and displacement tents. In Rafah, Israeli tanks fired heavily in the Al‑Shakoush area north of the city, while artillery struck northern Rafah and targeted tents of displaced families in the Al‑Mawasi area.
The International Committee of the Red Cross facilitated the transfer of thirty‑seven released detainees, including one woman, from the Kerem Shalom (Kerem Abu Salem) crossing to Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis.

The ICRC said it has assisted in transferring more than 2,700 released detainees since 2023 but has not been granted access to Israeli detention facilities since October 2023. The organization stressed the urgent need for Israel to disclose the fate and whereabouts of all detainees, allow humanitarian access, and ensure humane treatment and communication with families under international humanitarian law.
It noted that thousands of Palestinian families continue to wait anxiously for information about their detained relatives.
Humanitarian conditions remain catastrophic. Pregnant women sheltering in displacement tents in Gaza City face extreme heat, limited medical care, and severe shortages of essential medicines.
Dr. ‘Iyadah Abu Hasira, head of obstetrics at Al‑Helou Hospital, said miscarriage rates have tripled during the ongoing Israeli assault and siege due to the collapse of medical services and the absence of critical supplies.
The Gaza Ministry of Health reported that hospitals received two slain Palestinians and eight injured civilians during the previous twenty‑four hours.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza gas reported that since the “ceasefire” announced on October 11, 2025, Israeli forces have killed 1,258 Palestinians and injured 4,139, while 807 bodies have been recovered.
The cumulative toll since the beginning of the Israeli genocide in Gaza on October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,386 Palestinians killed and 174,250 injured.
Civil defense officials said victims remain trapped under the rubble and in locations unreachable to ambulance and rescue teams because of continued Israeli attacks, massive structural destruction, and the absence of essential rescue equipment.
