The head of Hamas’s political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, has reiterated his movement’s rejection of the US “Deal of the Century” which Washington intends to announce soon, describing it as “a new battle which the Palestinian people must fight.”
“Palestine is our homeland and the nation’s precious jewel that cannot be bargained over, sold or bought,” Haniyeh stated in press remarks, on Sunday.
The official invited all Palestinian factions, including Fateh, to hold a meeting in Cairo, in order to join forces in defense of the land, Jerusalem and the holy sites.
“We firmly declare that the ‘Deal of the Century’ will not pass and the new colonial plot aimed against Palestine will be doomed to failure,” he affirmed, according to Days of Palestine.
