Palestinian Prisoners’ Affairs has reported that the health condition of Yasser Rabi’a, aged 44, from the Bethlehem city, in the southern occupied West Bank, is very critical and needs medical attention.
The lawyer of the organization explained, according to Al Ray, that Rabi’a suffers from several health problems. He has suffered cancer in the rectal area for five months and also complains of hepatitis. He takes seven pills a day and undergoes chemotherapy sessions, but is waiting to undergo surgery, in order to eradicate the tumor as soon as possible.
Yasser is a father of two children and is sentenced to life imprisonment plus ten years, and was first detained in 2001.
