llegal Israeli colonizers, on Saturday, attacked and injured Palestinian residents and shepherds in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

According to the coordinator of the Popular and National Committees to Resist the Wall and Settlements, Rateb al-Jabour, illegal Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian civilians and shepherds in Sadat Tha’leh community in Masafer Yatta.

Al-Jabour said that local Palestinian youths confronted the settlers, and drove them out of the area, before occupation forces stormed the area to provide protection for the illegal settlers, closing the area off to Palestinians.

Meanwhile, one colonizer driving an ATV, attempted to run over a heard of sheep, owned by the local Makhamra family.

Furthermore, under army protection, settlers beat a number of Palestinians in the al-Tuwana community, injuring a 55-year-old man identified as Mofdi Ahmed Rabie, who was transported to hospital for medical treatment.

Occupation forces stormed the communities of al-Tuwana and al-Mufqara in Masafer Yatta, assaulted residents, and invaded and ransacked homes.
