Israeli forces carried out a series of invasions across the occupied West Bank at dawn on Wednesday, breaking into homes, abducting children and adults, installing military roadblocks, and assaulting civilians in several districts.
In the Bethlehem district in the southern occupied West Bank, Israeli forces invaded multiple areas, including the cities of Bethlehem, Beit Jala, and Beit Sahour, as well as the Dheisheh refugee, Beit Jibrin, and Aida refugee camp, and the towns of Doha, Al‑Khader, and Janata.
Media sources stated that soldiers roamed several neighborhoods, but no abductions were reported.
In the Jericho district in the eastern occupied West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the Aqabat Jabr refugee camp, south of Jericho, and abducted three children: Amin Nader Abu Qatam, Yamen Osama Al‑Muqeiti, and Amin Muhannad Al‑Sajdi.
The director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society in Jericho and the Jordan Valley said soldiers filmed the children as they abducted them and damaged property inside their families’ homes.
In the Ramallah and Al‑Bireh district in the central occupied West Bank, Israeli forces abducted five Palestinians.
Troops invaded the Al‑Am’ari refugee camp, south of Ramallah, and abducted Mohammad Tarmasani (24) and Ahmad Shadi Brash (16).
They also abducted Mohammad Wajih Atta (22) from Deir Abu Mash’al west of Ramallah, and Salim Ismail Hamadna and Munther Mohammad Alawi from Deir Jarir to the east.
In a separate incident, Israeli soldiers stationed at the Atara military roadblock, north of Ramallah, stopped a Palestinian vehicle, seized goods from inside it, and abducted the driver.
Israeli forces also invaded the town of Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah, deploying military vehicles through several streets and neighborhoods.
In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces invaded the town of Silwan, south of Al‑Aqsa Mosque, and installed a military roadblock at the Al‑Jisr junction, inspecting identity cards and obstructing movement.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that soldiers also detained three Palestinian workers near Sheikh Jarrah in the northern part of occupied Jerusalem.
In the Nablus district in the northern occupied West Bank, a Palestinian man was injured after Israeli soldiers assaulted him at the Deir Sharaf military roadblock, west of Nablus.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its crews treated the man, who suffered multiple bruises from the beating, before transporting him to hospital.
Eyewitnesses confirmed that soldiers repeatedly struck him, causing injuries to various parts pf his body.
