On Saturday, Israeli forces wounded two Palestinian citizens after bombing a bulldozer in the town of Al-Maghraqa, north of the Al-Nuseirat refugee camp, in the central Gaza Strip.
Media sources said that an armed Israeli drone bombed and wounded two citizens while they were working with a bulldozer to remove rubble caused by occupation, in the town of Al-Maghraqa.
Since the beginning of its military onslaught against the besieged Gaza Strip, on October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have killed 48,264 Palestinian citizens, most of whom were women and children, and wounded 111,688, while thousands of victims remain under the ruins of bombed buildings.
Medical sources reported that the bodies of 25 citizens were recovered from under the rubble, and transported to hospital, while 12 wounded Palestinians have arrived to hospitals, over the past 48 hours.
In related news, many demonstrations were held in several European and Turkish cities, in protest of the US President’s remarks suggesting that the remaining Palestinians in Gaza be forcibly displaced.
Media sources said that tens of thousands of citizens gathered near the British Prime Minister’s Office in the city of London, and marched to the US embassy, carrying Palestinian flags and signs reading “No to ethnic cleansing,” and “Freedom for Palestine.”
Additional protests were reported in the capital city of Dublin, Ireland, the capital city of Berlin, Germany, and the city of Bremen. In Sweden, demonstrations were held in the capital city of Stockholm, and the city of Helsingborg, while another was held in Oslo, the capital Norway.
In Turkey, protestors gathered in the capital city of Ankara and the city of Istanbul, to express their rejection of US President, Donald Trump’s calls for displacing the entire Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip.
For its part, the Russian Foreign Ministry stated on Saturday that the people of Gaza are suffering catastrophic humanitarian conditions as a result of the Israeli military onslaught which began on October 7, 2023 and ended with the ceasefire agreement which came into effect of January 19, 2025.
Media sources said that the spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry said at a press conference that “Moscow reiterates the importance of adhering to the ceasefire agreement in Gaza. The humanitarian situation there is catastrophic, and life in the Strip must return to normal before the outbreak of the war,” and called for the immediate delivery of aid.
