At least fourteen Palestinians, among them five children, were killed on Thursday in a series of Israeli attacks that struck displacement tents, schools sheltering civilians, residential areas, and agricultural zones across the devastated Gaza Strip.

Dozens more were wounded, according to medical officials, who reported that the death toll had risen steadily throughout the day as new casualties arrived at hospitals in the devastated enclave.

The heaviest casualties were recorded in northern Gaza, where Israeli drone strikes and gunfire repeatedly targeted areas crowded with displaced families.

In Jabalia refugee camp, a drone strike on a school being used as a shelter killed a young man and injured eight others, including children.

Another attack on Abu Hussein School, also sheltering displaced families, killed a Palestinian man identified as Ibrahim Sobeh. Additional civilians were later wounded when Israeli forces shelled the same school again.

Earlier in the day, Israeli gunfire in the Al-Fallujah area west of Jabalia killed eleven‑year‑old Hamsa Nidal Hoso.

In Beit Lahia, a quadcopter drone strike on Khalifa School wounded at least three Palestinians, according to the Medical Services Directorate.

Gaza City also came under fire, with Civil Defense teams reporting that a child was injured by Israeli gunfire in the Zeitoun neighborhood, while later in the afternoon, Israeli aircraft struck land near Hamad Hospital northwest of the city.

Central Gaza experienced a separate series of attacks that left multiple casualties. In the Nuseirat refugee camp, several civilians were injured when an Israeli strike hit an apartment in Block C, and Al-Awda Hospital confirmed receiving three wounded from the attack.

West of Deir al-Balah, Israeli forces struck a displacement tent near Burj Faisal, killing one person and injuring others.

Eastern areas of the central region also came under sustained bombardment: artillery targeted the vicinity of At-Tall al-Akhdar east of Al-Bureij refugee camp, while military vehicles and attack helicopters opened fire toward the camp’s eastern neighborhoods.

Israeli forces also fired dense live ammunition and smoke shells near the Kissufim road east of Deir al-Balah.

Southern Gaza saw some of the deadliest incidents of the day, particularly in Khan Younis and its coastal displacement zones.

In the Mawasi district, an Israeli explosive drone struck a displacement tent on Street 5, killing four Palestinians, including two sibling children, and injuring several others.

Earlier, another drone strike in the same area killed four Palestinians and wounded more. East of Khan Younis, a Palestinian man was killed near the Bani Suheila roundabout in a separate drone attack.

In the evening, an Israeli airstrike on the Al-‘Attar area of Mawasi Khan Younis killed Kamal Abdul-Rahman Mohammad Awad, 43, and injured three others, one critically. Israeli aircraft returned to strike the same area twice more after sunset.

Throughout the day, Israeli tanks also fired heavily toward eastern and southern Khan Younis, while naval vessels opened intense fire off the coast of Rafah in the far south.

Gaza City and the northern periphery were also hit at dawn, when Israeli warplanes launched two strikes on eastern Gaza City and two more in the north, accompanied by heavy gunfire from military vehicles toward eastern neighborhoods.

Since the “ceasefire” announced on 11 October, the number of Palestinians killed has reached 425, with 1,206 injured, and 688 bodies recovered from destroyed areas.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that the cumulative death toll from Israeli attacks since October 7, 2023, has risen to 71,395 Palestinians, with 171,287 wounded, the majority of whom are children and women.

Health Authorities warn that many victims remain trapped beneath collapsed buildings or in areas inaccessible to ambulance and civil defense crews due to ongoing bombardment.
