Ynet news site stated, on Tuesday, that the coordination of Israeli government activities in Gaza announced the extension of the fishing zone, off the coast, to 15 nautical miles.
The paper noted that this step forms part of the “small and quiet understandings” achieved at the end of last week, while negotiations continue to achieve “greater understandings”.
According to Al Ray, the Israeli decision came after a decline, two weeks ago, in the expansion of fishing area, under the pretext of the recent escalation.
