Israeli soldiers abducted, on Friday morning, five young Palestinian men and assaulted at least one of them near Bab al-Qattanin, one of the gates leading to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in occupied Jerusalem.

Eyewitnesses said the soldiers stopped the young men while trying to enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque for Friday prayers.

They added that the soldiers abducted the five young men and assaulted at least one of them.

The young men, who remained unidentified at the time of this report, are from Nablus in northern West Bank. The army claimed they did not have permits to enter Jerusalem.

Also, Israeli soldiers abducted a Palestinian in Hebron city in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

On Friday at dawn, the soldiers abducted two young Palestinian men from Anza village, south of Jenin, in the West Bank’s northern part.

On Thursday night, a group of fanatic illegal Israeli colonizers attacked several Palestinians near the Ibrahimi Mosque in the southern West Bank city of Hebron before the soldiers abducted a young Palestinian man.
