On Wednesday evening, Israeli soldiers carried out a series of invasions across the occupied West Bank, abducting and assaulting numerous Palestinians. One home was burnt due to Israeli fire in occupied Jerusalem.
Eid Barahma, head of the Jericho office of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS), reported that Israeli military vehicles invaded Fasayel village, north of Jericho, conducting violent searches of homes.
Barahma stated that several Palestinians, including Omar Mohammad Ta’amra, Jamil Mahmoud Ta’amra, and Yaza Awad Ta’amra, were assaulted, injured, and subsequently abducted by the soldiers, who transported them to an undisclosed location.
In Hebron, located in the southern part of the West Bank, Israeli forces invaded Doura town, south of the city, firing gas bombs and concussion grenades before abducting a young man.
During the invasion, soldiers stormed and ransacked numerous homes, including the residence of Mohammad Darwish, a political prisoner who had been released from Israeli custody earlier that day.
In a related development, Israeli forces invaded Al-Isawiya town, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, ransacking homes and occupying rooftops.
During the invasion, soldiers assaulted several Palestinians and used trucks to spray the area with wastewater mixed with chemicals, forcing residents to vacate the streets.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Silwan (Silwanic) reported that Israeli soldiers fired dozens of gas bombs and concussion grenades during the invasion, leading to a fire that broke out in one of the homes.
In related news, the soldiers injured seven Palestinians and caused dozens to suffer from tear gas inhalation during an invasion of Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
Also, Israeli forces continued their military offensive on Jenin and Jenin refugee camp in the northern part of the occupied West Bank for the 79th consecutive day, marked by widespread destruction and forced displacement.
On Tuesday, a 25-year-old man was shot in the head by soldiers during an invasion of the Al-Hadaf neighborhood near the refugee camp, where troops reportedly fired randomly, creating chaos and fear.
Furthermore, Israeli soldier shot and killed a Palestinian woman near Salfit, in the occupied West Bank’s central region.
The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that the soldiers killed Amana Ibrahim Mohammad Yacoub, 30, near a traffic light at the entrance of Hares village, west of Salfit.
Also, an elderly Palestinian man died of a heart attack on Tuesday, while Israeli forces carried out a demolition operation in the village of Wadi Fukin, west of Bethlehem in the southern occupied West Bank.
Media sources said that the elderly citizen, Ghazi Badr Mufreh Manasra (70 years old) died after suffering a heart attack when occupation forces assaulted the owners of the targeted homes.
Israeli soldiers and paramilitary colonizers have now killed 119 Palestinians, including 21 children and seven women, in several parts of the occupied West Bank, since the beginning of this year.
The army has killed 51 Palestinians in Jenin, 20 in Tubas, 15 in Nablus, 14 in Tulkarem, 5 in Hebron, 4 in Bethlehem, 3 in Qalqilia, 3 in Jerusalem, 2 in Ramallah, and 2 in Salfit.
