Israeli soldiers abducted, on Friday, five Palestinian young men in the northern West Bank governorate of Jenin, after invading several towns and villages, and setting up military roadblocks.

On Friday morning, Israeli forces invaded and searched the homes of Palestinian citizens, Majd Kamal Shibani and Mustafa Ahmed Shibani, before abducting them in Arraba town southwest of the city, while positioning their sharpshooters on the rooftops of citizens’ homes.

In Jalboun village, east of the city, occupation soldiers stormed the home of Ahmed Ziyad Abu Al-Rub, before abducting him.

In the town of Meithalun, south of Jenin, the army stormed and searched the homes of Iyad Sabarini and Nabil Nasser Nairat, before abducting them.

Armed Palestinian resistance fighters exchanged fire with the occupation army in the town of Arraba and Meithalun, to the southwest and south, while local Palestinians protested the military presence in of Al-Zababdeh, southeast of Jenin.


It was added that the army invaded the town of Siris and Al-Jadidah village to the south, Silat ad-Dhahr town to southwest, and Al-Araqa village to the west of Jenin, and erected several military roadblocks.

On Thursday, soldiers abducted two Palestinian citizens of the Jenin governorate from military roadblocks, they were identified as Mahmoud Bilal Atatra and Ayham Luay No’eirat.
