On Monday at dawn, several Israeli military vehicles invaded Qabatia town, south of Jenin in the occupied West Bank’s northern part, before the soldiers stormed and ransacked many homes and abducted several Palestinians.
Media sources said the soldiers stormed and violently searched many homes in the town, and interrogated the families while inspecting ID cards of many Palestinians.
They added that the soldiers smashed and damaged the doors of many homes before invading them, and ransacked the properties causing extensive damage.
The army also surrounded neighborhoods before pushing more armored vehicles and soldiers into the isolated areas.
The soldiers detained dozens of Palestinians and interrogated them in the town, before abducting many of them.
Palestinian youths protested the invasion and the violations, and hurled stones at the soldiers who fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.
Also, the Israeli army distributed leaflets threatening to abduct or kill any Palestinian who resists the occupation, and stormed the home of Hamza Maher Zakarna, who wasn’t there, before informing his family that he must surrender to the army.
Furthermore, the soldiers invaded the Mothallath Ash-Shuhada village, before bulldozing and destroying cars and structures, including street vendors’ stands, and increased their deployment around the towns of Zababda, Be’er Al-Basha, Arraba and Jaba’, before closing several streets.
In related news, the soldiers invaded the Al-Masayef neighborhood in Ramallah city, in the central West Bank, before breaking into homes and ransacking them, leading to protests.
The soldiers also invaded Kobar village, before storming and violently searching homes for several former political prisoners, causing damage.
