At dawn on Wednesday, Israeli soldiers invaded the town of Beitunia and the Al-Jalazone refugee camp, located northwest of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank’s central part, stormed and ransacked homes before abducting ten Palestinians, including a mother and her son.

According to media sources, the soldiers abducted the mother of political prisoner Bader Armoush from her home in Beitunia, along with his nephew.

In the Al-Jalazone refugee camp, troops carried out extensive and violent searches of dozens of homes before apprehending seven Palestinians.

The abducted Palestinians were identified as Mohammad Safi, Aysar Raed Safi, Ghassan Riyad Safi, Tha’er Ramadan Safi, Rami Mohammad Elian, Abdul-Nasser Mohammad Maqdadi, and Mohammad Saher Dabbour.

It is worth mentioning that Mohammad Safi is the father of Aysar Mohammad Safi, 20, who was killed by Israeli soldiers in May of last year.

During the invasion, the soldiers assaulted several young men and prevented many Palestinians from reaching the local mosque for dawn prayers.

In addition, the soldiers detonated the door of a store in the refugee camp before invading it.

In a related development, Israeli forces invaded the town of Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem, where they stormed and ransacked homes before seizing three cars belonging to Ahmad Ismael Salah, Yousef Hasan Ismael Salah, and Mohammad Khaled Ghoneim.
