Israeli occupation forces assassinated three Palestinians during a combined ground and air assault in the area between the village of Kafr Qud and Wadi Hassan, west of Jenin, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.

The Palestinian Civil Affairs Authority has confirmed the identities of three Palestinians killed in an Israeli airstrike near the village of Kafr Qud, west of Jenin.

The victims were Abdullah Mohammad Omar Jalamna, 27, Qais Ibrahim Mohammad al-Betawi, 21, and Ahmad Azmi Aref Nashrati, 29.

Eyewitnesses said Israeli forces bombed the vehicle carrying the three men, striking it directly and setting it ablaze.

The fire spread to nearby olive trees, causing additional damage to agricultural land in the area.

The incident also involved exchanges of fire and an airstrike targeting what the Israeli military described as an “armed cell.”

According to the Israeli army’s official statement, soldiers identified three individuals emerging from a cave during the operation.

Military snipers opened fire, killing two of them. Shortly afterward, the Israeli Air Force launched a targeted airstrike on the cave, killing the third.

Israeli media outlet Channel 12 reported that the three Palestinians were killed “following an armed confrontation in Kafr Qud.”

The report stated that Israeli forces had surrounded the cave where the men were located before launching the attack.

The outlet echoed the army’s claim that the group was “allegedly planning an attack,” though no independent evidence was provided to support this assertion.

The incident is part of a broader Israeli military offensive in Jenin and its surroundings, which has included multiple airstrikes, bulldozing of roads, and the obstruction of ambulances and medical access to Jenin Government Hospital.

On Sunday evening, the Palestinian Health Ministry announced that Israeli forces killed the young man, Muhammad Bassam Tayaha Sha’our, 20, at the Meitar military roadblock near Ath-Thaheriyya town, south of Hebron in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

Since the beginning of the year, Israeli forces and colonizers have killed 226 Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank, including 40 children and 6 women.

Occupation forces have killed 78 Palestinians in Jenin, 40 in Nablus, 29 in Tubas, 19 in Hebron, 17 in Tulkarem, 17 in Ramallah, 9 in Bethlehem, 7 in Jerusalem, 6 in Qalqilia, 3 in Salfit, and 1 in Jericho, according to the Shireen Observatory.
