Israeli artillery bombed, with missiles, a location to the east of Khan Younes, in the southern Gaza Strip, according to local sources.

WAFA correspondence said Israeli armored tanks and artillery stationed at the borderline to the east of Abasan town, east of Khan Younes, bombed a location with missiles and destroyed it in full.

There were no reports of human casualties, however.

The Israeli military claimed the bombing came after an explosive device detonated in an Israeli military jeep near the border.
