On Wednesday, Israeli forces continued their aggression against the northern West Bank city of Jenin and the Jenin refugee camp for the 16th consecutive day.

The military maintained its offensive in the Al-Far’a refugee camp and the town of Tammun, southwest and south of Tubas in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.

Media sources said that occupation forces continue to besiege the Jenin Governmental Hospital, while bulldozers continue to carry out sabotage the infrastructure in the camp.


Sources added that the army continues to demolish and destroy citizens’ homes in the Jenin refugee camp, pushing military reinforcements from the Jalamah military roadblock, north of the city.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday night, occupation forces stormed the town of Burqin, west of Jenin, and abducted two Palestinian young men in Jenin city.

Media sources said that Israeli soldiers invaded and searched the home of the former prisoner, Osama Hashem Khalouf, in Burqin town, while hurling concussion grenades in its vicinity.

Sources added that Israeli forces abducted the young man, Riyad Maher Al-Atrash, after storming his home in the “Kharuba” neighborhood of Jenin city. In the “Sabah Al-Khair” neighborhood of the city, the army abducted the young man, Makhzoum Al-Khalidi, after invading his home.

Furthermore, occupation forces continued their aggression against the Al-Far’a refugee camp, southwest of Tubas, and the town of Tammun, south of the city, for the fourth consecutive day.

In Tammun town, occupation forces announced over loudspeakers that citizens are banned from movement in the town until next Friday.

Media sources said that the army carried out a large-scale arrest campaign, breaking into and searching many citizens’ homes in Tammun town.

Kamal Bani Odeh, the director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) in Tubas, said that Israeli forces abducted eight citizens in Tammun town; they were identified as Mohammad Osama Jamil Bani Odeh, Nasser Ali Hamad Bani Odeh, Ali Hayel Ali Hamad Bani Odeh, Wasim Suleiman Abdullah Bani Odeh, Ibrahim Taher Bani Odeh, Mohammad Omar Ishtiwi, Mustafa Burhan Adel Mustafa Basharat, and Ali Basem Rashid Hamdan.


On Wednesday evening, the army detonated the door of the “Hudhayfah bin al-Yaman” mosque in Tammun town and continued bulldozing operations, causing damage to the infrastructure.

Occupation forces carried out at least 8 drone strikes in Tammun town between Tuesday morning and Wednesday morning; no injuries were reported.

In the Al-Far’a refugee camp, forced at least 25 Palestinian families to evacuate their homes, and assaulting young men, before converting the homes into military barracks, while bulldozers destroyed infrastructure and citizens’ homes.
