On Tuesday, Israeli soldiers demolished five Palestinian homes and three irrigation pools in Furush Beit Dajan village, east of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.
Azem Haj Mohammad, the head of Furush Beit Dajan Village Council, said several military vehicles, including a bulldozer, invaded the village before surrounding neighborhoods and demolished the five homes.
He added that the army claims the homes were built without permits from the so-called “Civil Administration Office,” the administrative branch of the illegal Israeli occupation, although some of the demolished properties were constructed before the year 1967 when Israel illegally occupied the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip.
Mohammad stated that the demolition left at least seventy Palestinians, including many children, homeless.
The village has been subject to constant Israeli violations, including the demolition of homes and property, the confiscation of 11.000 out of 14.000 Dunams (%78.57) of the village’s lands, and its water resources for its illegal colonies, built on stolen lands in violations of International Law.
