Israeli soldiers executed two Palestinian young men on Wednesday near Qabatia town, and abducted two others in Qabatia town, south of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank.

The General Authority of Civil Affairs informed the Palestinian Health Ministry of the deaths of the two young men, identified as Mohammad Omar Mohammad Zakarna, 23, and Mirweh Yasser Rateb Khozeimiyya, 19.

Media sources reported that on Wednesday morning, an Israeli force surrounded a cave in the quarry area between Qabatiya town and Misiliya village, besieging the two young men inside.

The Palestinian young men engaged in an intense gun battle with occupation forces before the army fired “Energa” anti-tank rounds at the cave, executing the two men.

It is important to mention that military bulldozers proceeded to destroy the site, desecrating, abusing, and seizing the bodies of the two slain men, as reinforcements arrived.

According to Arab 48 News, the army accused Zakarneh of carrying a shooting operation which killed three Israelis on January 6, 2025 near Qalqilia in the northwestern part of the West Bank.

Also on Wednesday morning, occupation forces besieged a home in the Engineers Housing area in Qabatiya town and abducted two unidentified young men, Arab 48 reported.

In related news, a Palestinian man and his child sustained shrapnel injuries after Israeli special forces stormed the town of Qabatiya on Tuesday night.

Media sources said that an undercover Israeli unit infiltrated the town and opened fire with live rounds, striking a citizen and his daughter in the face and neck with live bullet fragments while they were traveling in their vehicle.

The injured were transported to the hospital for treatment, while military reinforcements were pushed from the Dotan military roadblock near Ya’bad town.

Since the beginning of the year, Israeli forces have killed 122 Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank, including 21 children and 5 women, according to the Shireen Observatory.

Occupation forces have killed 53 Palestinians in Jenin, 20 in Tubas, 15 in Nablus, 14 in Tulkarem, 5 in Hebron, 4 in Bethlehem, 3 in Qalqilia, 3 in Jerusalem, 3 in Ramallah, and 2 in Salfit.

In the Gaza Strip, the overall death toll since October 7, 2023 has increased to 51,025, including women and children, while at least 116,432 Palestinians have sustained various degrees of injuries as a result of Israel’s military onslaught.
