On Wednesday, the Israeli army continued the bombing and shelling of various parts of the devastated, besieged, and starved Gaza Strip, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians, including children and women.
Several civilians were killed and others injured on Tuesday evening in Israeli airstrikes targeting multiple areas in Gaza City.
Medical sources reported that one civilian was killed, and others injured when Israeli forces targeted a tent near Al-Amal Hotel in western Gaza City. The sources added that several Palestinians were killed, and others seriously injured in an Israeli bombing of Gaza City’s Tuffah neighborhood.
In Deir Al-Balah, central Gaza, the army bombarded an area in the western part of the city, killing one Palestinian and wounding several others. Two more civilians lost their lives in an Israeli airstrike on a residential apartment near the Al-Saraya intersection in central Gaza.
Additionally, two civilians were killed and others injured when an Israeli drone struck a tent sheltering displaced individuals at Al-Yarmouk Stadium in western Gaza City.
In Khan Younis, southern Gaza, ten Palestinians were killed and many injured when the army fired a missile at a tent housing a displaced family in the western part of the city.
Medical sources confirmed that the bodies of the slain Palestinians were severely burned and mutilated before being moved to Nasser Hospital.
The army also injured many Palestinians in Al-Amal neighborhood in Khan Younis and carried out two airstrikes targeting Abasan town, east of the city.
Two Palestinians were killed and others injured when an Israeli drone fired a missile at displaced Palestinians west of Khan Younis refugee camp.
At least two Palestinians were killed and many injured when an Israeli military drone fired a missile at Street 2 in Al-Qarara town, north of Khan Younis.

One Palestinian was killed and several others injured, some seriously, when an Israeli military helicopter fired a missile at a tent housing a displaced family near Nasser Medical Center, west of Khan Younis.
In related developments, Israeli artillery targeted eastern neighborhoods of Gaza City, while a drone, identified as a “quadcopter,” fired on areas in the eastern part of Al-Tuffah neighborhood.
Several Palestinians were injured when the army fired artillery shells at the Sha’af neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
It is worth noting that many Palestinians were killed and injured in predawn Israeli bombing and shelling across the Gaza Strip on Wednesday.
Medical sources reported that ten citizens were killed, and others injured when Israeli warplanes bombed the Hassouna family home on Al-Nafaq Street in Gaza City.
They added that three Palestinians were killed, and others injured when the army bombed a house in the Al-Sha’af area of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City.

Furthermore, Israeli artillery targeted the home of the Shawwaf family in the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis.
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) announced that approximately 500,000 Palestinians have been displaced from their homes in the Gaza Strip since March 18, due to Israel’s resumption of genocidal actions and its withdrawal from the ceasefire agreement.
According to OCHA, as reported by UN News, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were repeatedly displaced before the temporary ceasefire on January 19, 2025.
OCHA added that “the ongoing hostilities across the Gaza Strip continue to have devastating effects on civilians, including death, displacement, and destruction of vital infrastructure.”
Regarding humanitarian access, OCHA noted that Israeli authorities “continue to refuse approval for coordinated missions, facilitating only two out of six planned humanitarian movements today that had been coordinated with the occupation authorities.”
It further stated that “Israel rejected four other missions, including one to bring fuel from Rafah,” without clarifying the reasons for rejecting the remaining movements or the nature of the missions and the humanitarian aid they carried.
OCHA teams visited displacement sites in Khan Younis last week, where “most people live in overcrowded shelters, amid shortages of shelter, food, water, and medicine.”
Relief workers reported that tents are no longer available for distribution across the Gaza Strip. For example, in Bani Suhaila in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, families recently displaced received only a few blankets and pieces of fabric.
The United Nations reported “a worsening of acute malnutrition in the Gaza Strip, with the number of children receiving supplementary feeding in March declining by more than two-thirds.”
Israeli-imposed restrictions on humanitarian access hinder the ability to supply hospitals with medical materials, endangering the health of more patients, according to the United Nations.
Since March 2nd, Israeli authorities have prevented the entry of essential supplies of food and water into Gaza following the closure of crossings, causing a humanitarian catastrophe and worsening famine conditions.
Israel has now killed at least 51,000 Palestinians, the majority of whom were women and children, and injured more than 116,343 others, in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023. These figures are not final, as many victims remain under the rubble or in areas inaccessible to rescue teams.
