On Saturday at dawn, an Israeli military vehicle deliberately rammed into a bus carrying Palestinian pilgrims in the city of Jenin, causing damage but no reported injuries.
Local sources reported that the bus was departing from Jenin Governorate Square, heading to Jericho, where passengers were scheduled to cross the Karama Border Crossing with Jordan, on their way to Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj pilgrimage, when Israeli forces intentionally struck the bus.
Mansour Saadi, Deputy Governor of Jenin, stated that the military vehicle directly targeted the bus while it was stationary, with passengers on board, many of whom were elderly, wounded, or the relatives of Palestinians who were killed by the Israeli army.
Saadi described the attack as an act of intimidation, creating fear among the pilgrims and aiming at disrupting all aspects of life.
Earlier Saturday, Israeli soldiers abducted three Palestinians, including a woman, in Jenin and in Tulkarem, in the northern and the northwestern parts of the occupied West Bank.
