On Wednesday, Israeli forces killed a Palestinian and shot ten others with live rounds in Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank.

Israeli forces invaded, on Wednesday, Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, while local Palestinian youths protested the military incursion.


In response to resistance, soldiers fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel rounds, and tear gas canisters.

The Ministry of Health said that Israeli forces shot Naihal Ziyad Mohammad Ismail Bregheeth, 18, in the head with live ammunition, causing a serious injury.

After resuscitation efforts failed, medical sources pronounced the death of the teen.


At least ten young men and children were shot with live ammunition, including one who was shot in the abdomen, and two in the thigh.

Many others were shot with rubber-coated steel rounds while others sustained inhalation injuries from tear gas exposure.

Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) ambulance crews transported the injured civilians to hospitals and a medical clinic in Hebron for treatment.

During the incursion, soldiers stormed citizens’ homes and seized surveillance camera recordings.

In related news, occupation forces shot and killed, on Tuesday, the young man, Muhammad Sharif Salmi, 20, in the city of Qalqilia in the northwestern part of the West Bank.

Since the beginning of the military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have killed 395 Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank. In the Gaza Strip, Israeli forces have killed at least 28,473 Palestinians, and injured at least 68,146, mostly women and children, since October 7, 2023.
