On Sunday and earlier Monday, Israeli soldiers killed five Palestinians, including an elderly woman, in the devastated and destroyed Gaza Strip.

Earlier Monday, medical sources have confirmed that Israeli soldiers fired live rounds at Palestinians in the Sheja’eyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, killing one Palestinian.

On Sunday, medical sources said three slain Palestinians were moved to the Baptist Hospital, in Gaza City, after the army fired many live rounds at displaced Palestinians, east of the city.

Eyewitnesses said the soldiers, stationed east of the city, fired barrages of live rounds at Palestinians trying to return to their homes, near the Kuwaiti Junction, east of the city, killing three.

Also, an elderly woman was killed after Israeli soldiers fired at displaced Palestinians east of the Al-Qarara town, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the coastal enclave.

Many families returned to inspect their homes and lands after the army left the Netzarim junction, which separates Gaza and northern Gaza from the central and southern regions and were subject to Israeli military fire.

Since the ceasefire agreement was reached, the Israeli army has killed more than 114 Palestinians.

On February 7, Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor, stated that despite the declaration of a ceasefire on 19 January 2025, Israel continues to commit genocide in the Gaza Strip by denying Palestinians the necessities for survival and imposing conditions of life calculated to bring about their physical destruction.

Euro-Med added that Israel has killed at least 110 since the ceasefire agreement was reached.

Euro-Med also stated that Israeli soldiers shot and injured at least 901 Palestinians, since the ceasefire was reached, in an average of forty-seven injuries per day.

Israeli has killed at least 48.181 Palestinians, including 17.881 children and 12.298 women, and injured more than 111.638, largely children, women and elderly in the Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023. The number do not include those who are still missing, largely under the rubble.
