On Monday, Israeli forces shot a Palestinian child, assaulted a girl, and abducted three Palestinians in Tubas, in the northwestern part of the West Bank, while assaulting two young men, and abducting another near Jenin in the northern West Bank.
On Monday morning, Israeli forces stormed the city of Tubas in the northeastern part of the West Bank, followed by military reinforcements.
The army positioned sharpshooters on the rooftops of citizens’ homes, while a reconnaissance drone flew overhead, sparking protests.
According to the Palestinian red Crescent Society, soldiers fired live rounds and shot a 17-year-old child in the thigh, and assaulted a girl with disabilities when they invaded her family’s home.
It was added that armed Palestinian resistance fighters exchanged fire with the invading army, and soldiers abducted at least three citizens.
According to Kamal Bani Odeh, the director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) in Tubas, occupation forces invaded and searched the homes of Adham Yahya Suleiman Abu Bishara, and the brothers, Sami and Zaid Muhammad Abu Hilweh, before abducting them.
Meanwhile, west of Jenin in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded Ya’bad town, in the early morning hours of Monday, detained two Palestinian young men and assaulted them before releasing them.
On Monday night, the occupation army stormed the town of Arraba, southwest of Jenin, conducted a wide-scale search campaign, and abducted Baraa Osama Abu Obaid.
Media sources added that the army also invaded the village of Jalbun, east of Jenin, sparking protests.
