A large army force invaded the city of Jenin and its refugee camp, in the northern occupied West Bank, shot and injured six Palestinians including a woman who was seriously injured, abducted 20 citizens, and bombed a home.
At least 40 Israeli military vehicles, including bulldozers stormed the city of Jenin and its refugee camp on Tuesday afternoon, sparking fierce resistance.
Sharpshooters were positioned on the rooftops of many homes, while soldier turned some into military barracks, coinciding with military reconnaissance drones circling in the airspace above.
Soldiers invaded many homes in the city and the refugee camp, while firing live rounds and tear gas canisters at Palestinian residents during the 9-hour-long incursion.
Armed Palestinian resistance fighters exchanged fire with the invading army and detonated explosive devices targeting the military vehicles.
Media sources said that at least nine citizens were shot and injured, including a woman who was seriously wounded, and a female child that was shot with a live round in her leg.
The army fired an “Energa” missile at a home belonging to the , Salim Abu Awad in the Jenin camp, causing extensive damage and igniting fires to the home and neighboring home.
The Jenin Governmental and Ibn Sina Hospitals were besieged by the invading army, who searched ambulances, and obstructed the work of their crews.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), the army assaulted its ambulance crews in the camp, while they were transporting a patient to the hospital.
Meanwhile, soldiers stormed and searched a bakery in the city, destroyed its surveillance cameras, and assaulted its workers, and also targeted electricity transformers with bullets causing a power outage in some neighborhoods.
Bulldozers destroyed streets, infrastructure, including water lines in the camp and its outskirts, and detonated a citizens’s vehicle in the Jenin camp.
During their search campaign, soldiers detonated the entrances to several homes before breaking in and searching them, before abducting at least twenty Palestinians.

It is important to mention that Israeli forces have conducted more than 28 incursions into the city of Jenin and its camp since the Israeli revenge aggression began on October 7.
