On Thursday afternoon, Israeli forces shot two Palestinian children in Jenin city, amid escalating military aggression against the northern West Bank.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews transported two 14-year-old children to the Jenin Governmental Hospital after sustained live gunshot wounds to the thigh.
Medical sources described the teens’ injuries as serious, stating that Israeli soldiers opened fire at them while they were near the Return Roundabout in Jenin city.
The same sources added that the army impeded ambulance crews’ ability to approach the wounded teens, delaying their treatment and transfer to hospital.
Earlier Thursday, occupation forces executed two unarmed Palestinian young men, identified as Muntaser Billah Mahmoud Qassem Abdullah (26 years old) and Youssef Ali Youssef Asasa (37 years old) in Jenin city.
In the same context, Israeli forces killed Osama Yasser Kamil (20 years old), on Wednesday night, after invading the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin.
On Tuesday, the army assassinated Sultan Nidal Abdul Aziz (22 years old), in the village of Mirka, southwest of Jenin.
On Monday evening, Israeli forces executed the wanted young man Abdel-Raouf Shtayyeh, 30, after besieging and bombing a home in the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
Last Friday, Israeli forces killed the young man Younis Walid Mohammad Shtayyeh (24 years old) in Tel town, southwest of Nablus.
Occupation forces have recently embarked on a new military operation against Palestinians in the northeastern part of the West Bank, carrying out a large-scale detention campaign in Tubas.
Since midnight on Tuesday/Wednesday, the Tubas governorate has witnessed a heavy deployment of Israeli military forces in the city of Tubas, the towns of Aqaba and Tammun, and the village of Tayasir. These military operations involved the mass detention and abuse of dozens of Palestinian citizens.
