On Saturday night, Israeli soldiers shot two Palestinians during protests after many military vehicles invaded Beit Furik town, east of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and installed roadblocks.

Media sources said many Israeli military vehicles invaded the town, before the soldiers fired barrages of live rounds, and gas bombs, in several neighborhoods.

Medical sources have confirmed that the soldiers shot two young men with live fire before the local medic took them to a hospital in Nablus.

Beit Furik has been subject to ongoing Israeli invasions, violent searches of homes, and abduction of many young men, in addition to the various military roadblocks around it.

In related news, hundreds of Palestinians marched in Tulkarem city and Shweika suburb, in the northwestern West Bank, protesting the killing of five Palestinians in a home the army bombarded after surrounding it.

The Israeli army said its soldiers “eliminated Hamas fighters who were responsible for several shooting incidents targeting soldiers and colonizers in November of last year.
