Israeli forces shot, on Wednesday, two Palestinian young men near Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank, stormed towns and villages, assaulted young men, and confiscated vehicles.
In the predawn hours of Wednesday, Israeli forces invaded Asira ash-Shamaliya town, north of Nablus, sparking protests. Soldiers opened fire with live rounds, shooting two Palestinian young men.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews treated two young men injured with live rounds, one who was shot in the chest and another in the abdomen. Both young men were transported to hospital.
At dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, the town of Beit Furik, and Qaryout village, southeast of the city, and Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya village, south of the city.
Soldiers carried out a large-scale search operation, breaking into several homes, triggering protests among local Palestinian youths.
Palestinians hurled rocks at military vehicles, while armed resistance fighters exchanged fire with the invading army, and targeted military vehicles with explosive devices.
Sources added that the army brutally assaulted Palestinian young men while interrogating them in Beit Furik, Qaryout, and Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya village, and many privately-owned vehicles and tractors were confiscated.
