Illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers carried out a series of coordinated attacks on Friday across several areas of the occupied West Bank, targeting cemeteries, mosques, agricultural land, and Palestinian communities in Jenin in the northern West Bank, Nablus in the northern West Bank, and Bethlehem in the southern West Bank.

In the village of Bir al‑Basha, south of, colonizers invaded the “Iraqi Martyrs Cemetery” using small all‑terrain vehicles and conducted provocative tours inside and around the cemetery grounds.

Local sources reported that the same group later blocked the road in the al‑Hafira area near the town of Arraba, obstructing traffic and restricting residents’ movement.

In the Nablus district, colonizers destroyed the contents of the Sheikh Mosque in Khirbet Tana, an area belonging to the lands of Beit Furik east of Nablus.

Thaer Hanani, head of the Khirbet Tana Land Defense Committee, said the colonizers attacked the mosque, vandalized its interior, and damaged fencing around nearby orchards.

The colonizers also attacked residents in the town of Qusra, south of Nablus, targeting the southwestern area of the town under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.

The assault triggered protests during which soldiers fired heavy live ammunition, gas bombs, and concussion grenades, causing multiple suffocation injuries among residents.

In the Bethlehem district in the southern West Bank, dozens of colonizers, accompanied and protected by Israeli occupation forces, invaded the Solomon’s Pools area between the town of al‑Khader and the village of Artas.

Media sources said Israeli forces first invaded the site and took positions near the third pool before allowing large groups of colonizers to enter historic pool.

Also Friday, Israeli occupation forces carried out invasions in Qalqilia in the northwestern West Bank, Ramallah in the central West Bank, Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, Jenin in the northern West Bank, Tubas in the northeastern West Bank, and the Qalandia refugee camp north of occupied Jerusalem.

On Friday evening, the army carried out multiple invasions across the Hebron district on firing toxic tear gas at residents, assaulting civilians, damaging property, and abducting a Palestinian man during a home invasion in Dura.

Article 33 of the Fourth Geneva Convention prohibits collective punishment and acts of terror against civilian populations.

Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory”.

Articles 53 and 147 prohibit the destruction of civilian property and classify pillage as a war crime.
