On Saturday evening, a two-year-old Palestinian child was injured after an illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizer assaulted her in Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

Local and medical sources reported that the child, Sarah Amir Da’na, was attacked while returning home with her mother near an Israeli military roadblock at the entrance of Shuhada Street in central Hebron.

They added that the colonizer attacked the child in front of Israeli soldiers, causing her to collapse, while the soldiers did not attempt to intervene or arrest him.

According to witnesses, the incident occurred as a group of heavily armed colonizers stormed the area. One of them, a man in his forties, kicked the child in the head, causing her to fall to the ground and lose consciousness immediately.

Palestinian Red Crescent medics revived the injured child and took her to a hospital in Hebron, where her condition was described as moderate.

On Saturday evening, Israeli soldiers fatally shot a Palestinian child, Nidal Wael Abdul-Karim Shaghnoubi, 16, and injured two others in Burqa village, northwest of Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

On Friday, Israeli forces killed a Palestinian teenage boy after he allegedly stabbed an Israeli police officer at one of the gates of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem.

Media sources said that occupation police shot the young man, Mohammad Nidal Abu Lebda, 17, after he allegedly stabbed an Israeli police officer at the Bab al-Silsila (Chain Gate), one of the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

This year alone, 146 Palestinians, including 26 children and 5 women, have been killed in the West Bank, one of the slain Palestinians was killed by illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers.

Israeli soldiers and paramilitary colonizers have killed 981 Palestinians in several parts of the occupied West Bank, since October 7, 2023.
