A Palestinian man was killed on Tuesday, after illegal Israeli colonizers attacked a community southeast of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
An illegal Israeli colonizer shot and killed, on Tuesday, a Palestinian man while he was in front of his home in the town of Aqraba, southeast of Nablus.
Media sources said that a group of colonizers, under army protection attacked citizens in Khirbet al-Tawil, east of Aqraba, while local Palestinians arrived to confront them.
The settlers opened fire with live ammunition, shooting Fakher Bassem Bani Jaber, 43, while he was in front of his home.
The injured man was transported to Rafidia hospital in Nablus, where medical sources announced that the he had succumbed to his wounds.
Israeli forces and colonizers have killed 436 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of the Israeli military onslaught against the Gaza Strip, on October 7, 2023.
All Israeli colonizers in the occupied West Bank are illegal under International Humanitarian Law, as specified in Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention, which states;
The Occupying Power [Israel] shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies [Palestine].
