Illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers attacked a Palestinian home on Sunday in the eastern outskirts of Far’ata, east of Qalqilia in the northwestern West Bank.
Resident Hijazi Yamin stated that a group of colonizers from the Havat Gilad illegal colony assaulted his home with stones and prevented his family of seven from leaving.
Hijazi added that the colonizers prevented the family from moving freely, claiming they intended to graze their livestock in the area.
He also said added that the colonizers released one of their dogs toward his family when they attempted to confront them and push them back, causing panic, particularly among the children.
Yamin described a profound sense of insecurity, noting that he now fears leaving his wife and children alone or allowing them to go to school or attend to daily needs, as repeated attacks have left them exposed to constant danger.
A few days earlier, the colonizers invaded the area, assaulted Yamin, stole agricultural equipment belonging to him, and vandalized water networks during the night before fleeing the area.
These assaults form part of a sustained campaign aimed at pressuring him to abandon his home under the pretext of its proximity to the colony.
Far’ata lies east of Qalqilia and is surrounded by the villages of Immatain, Baqat al‑Hatab, Hajjah, al‑Funduq, and Jit. The village’s approximately 1,200 residents access it through a single main entrance via Immatain.
Its proximity to the Havat Gilad illegal colony places families in the eastern part of the village under persistent threat from colonizer violence.
In related news, Israeli colonizers set up a new tent overnight near Palestinian tents in Khirbet Samra in the northern Jordan Valley, signaling an attempt to seize additional grazing and agricultural land.
Residents continue to face an intensified colonization campaign backed by the Israeli military and the Israeli government, aimed at pressuring communities to abandon their homes.
Furthermore, the colonizers attacked the school in Khirbet al‑Maleh in the northern Jordan Valley.
Also, Israeli colonizers obstructed the work of educational staff on Sunday morning at al‑Malah School in the northern Jordan Valley.
Tubas Director of Education, Azmi Balawna, stated that a group of colonizers confronted the school’s staff and attempted to stop them from beginning the school day.
The school serves several Bedouin communities in the northern Jordan Valley, including al‑Hadidiya, Makhoul, Samra, al‑Malah, and Ein al‑Hilwa.
In a related incident, human rights activist Aref Daraghma stated that the colonizers blocked a merchant from delivering a truckload of animal feed to a resident in Hammamat al‑Maleh.
He noted that colonizers had invaded al‑Maleh several times the previous day and attempted to steal livestock belonging to local families and added that colonizers established a new colonial outpost in the al‑Malah area about a week ago, and their presence has since become nearly constant among the residents’ tents.
In occupied Jerusalem, a group of colonizers, accompanied by Israeli soldiers, invaded the Abu al‑Nuwwar Bedouin community near al‑‘Eizariya east of the city, further escalating threats against vulnerable Palestinian communities.
