On Tuesday dawn, many illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers attacked Palestinian homes while Israeli soldiers abducted two Palestinians in Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.
Media sources said the colonizers attacked many Palestinian homes near the illegal Karmie Tzur and Ghosh Etzion colonies, built on stolen Palestinian lands, south and north of Beit Ummar, causing damage.
The sources added that the soldiers also attacked many Palestinian cars, driving at the entrance of the town, and on the nearby bypass road, causing damage and obstructing traffic.
The attacks were being conducted while Israeli soldiers invaded Beit Ummar, before the soldiers stormed and ransacked many homes, especially in the Ath-Thaher area and Bahar neighborhood.
During the invasions and violent searches of homes, the soldiers abducted two Palestinians and took them to an unknown destination.
On Monday, illegal Israeli colonizers ran over a Palestinian child near Bethlehem, assaulted worshipers in Jerusalem, and attacked homes in Hebron, in the central and southern occupied West Bank.
All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.
Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory”.
