On Sunday evening, several illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers attacked Palestinians and their property in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank’s southern part, before Israeli soldiers abducted three Palestinians.
Jihad Nawaj’a, the head of Susiya Village Council, stated that the colonizers invaded the Khirbet Asfa community and hurled stones at many Palestinians, their homes, and their livestock.
Nawaj’a added that damage was reported to the home of Nasser Shreiteh and the car of Khalil Nawaj’a.
Following the attack, Israeli soldiers invaded the village, also attacked the Palestinians, and abducted Mohammad Ismael Awad, Mousa Othman Awad, and Mahmoud Rasmi Makhamra.
In related news, the colonizers attacked the nearby community of Khirbet Maghayer Al-Abeed, damaging solar panels and assaulting several residents and their homes.
It is worth mentioning that the paramilitary colonizers recently installed tents on Palestinian lands to establish a new outpost and escalated their violations against many villages in Masafer Yatta to force the Palestinians out.
Late Saturday evening, a group of illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers attacked Palestinian homes and cars in Bruqin town, west of Salfit, in the central West Bank, causing damage.
Also, paramilitary Israeli colonizers attacked Palestinian Bedouin communities in the Central Plains and Jericho in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank, causing damage.
On Wednesday, many illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers attacked Palestinian shepherds and installed tents to establish a new outpost in the Al-Minya wilderness area, southeast of the West Bank city of Bethlehem.
Last Tuesday, an illegal Israeli colonizer stabbed a Palestinian shepherd while he was grazing his livestock in the Khirbet Ibziq area, north of Tubas in the northern Jordan Valley.
Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states that the occupying power [Israel] is forbidden from transferring any part of its civilian population onto the land on which it occupies [Palestine].
All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Humanitarian Law.
