On Friday, groups of fanatic illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers invaded Palestinian lands and communities across the occupied West Bank, attacked the residents and tried to uproot trees.
In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, paramilitary colonizers attacked Palestinian farmlands and opened fire at the residents who intercepted their invasion.
The colonizers invaded the land and tried to uproot plants and olive trees before the locals intercepted them.
The attack came just two days after the colonizers installed a tent and set up an outpost on Palestinian lands in the Ein Al-Banat area between Kafr Malek and Al-Mughayyir villages, and are trying to turn it into a colony by stealing more lands from the villages.
In Bethlehem, south of occupied Jerusalem, the colonizers invaded the western area of Husan village, west of the city.
Rami Hamara, the head of Husan Village Council, said the colonizers invaded the Ein Al-Hawiyya area and gathered there, and added that the army has been repeatedly invaded over the last three days, as the colonizers are planning to steal the lands and install and outpost under the protection of the Israeli occupation army.
Also, the paramilitary colonizers invaded lands in Kisan village, east of Bethlehem, and tried to steal a water tank and a tractor, owned by a local farmer, Mahmoud Obeyyat, and also tried to steal agricultural tools and supplies owned by Ibrahim Sawarka, but the locals intercepted them before they ran away.
Obeyyat added that the lands, the farmers, and their livestock in the area have been subject to escalating Israeli violations but the soldiers and the paramilitary colonizers.
Kisan is also subject to repeated Israeli assaults and violations by the Israeli occupation soldiers and the colonizers.
In the West Bank’s Northern Plans, the colonizers invaded a Bedouin community in the Ein Al-Hilwa area, before breaking into residential tents belonging to Fathi Daraghma.
The area and its surroundings are also subject to seriously escalating Israeli violations by the colonies and the army.
In Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, the colonizers, and many soldiers invaded the Al-Karmel archeological area in Yatta town, south of the city, after the army closed and isolated the area to prevent the Palestinians from reaching it.
The invaded area has an archaeological pool that is used for collecting rainwater from the mountains and the Palestinians use the water for irrigation in addition to a park that was built by the Yatta Town Council.
All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.
Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory”.
